Privacy Policy
Effective April 16, 2026
Quartz Music Player is built with a strict privacy-first philosophy. We do not collect, store, transmit, or process any personal data or user information. Your music library, listening habits, and device information remain entirely on your device.
Information We Do Not Collect
To be unambiguous, we do not collect personal identifiers, device identifiers, location data, analytics, listening history, crash reports, advertising identifiers, cookies, tracking pixels, or cross-app tracking data.
Permissions and Their Purpose
Quartz Music Player requests only the minimum permissions necessary for audio playback, USB DAC support, Bluetooth routing, notifications, local media access, and premium license verification through Google Play.
Third-Party Services
Quartz Music Player uses Google Play Billing for premium purchases and Google Play Integrity for installation authenticity. We do not receive payment information and do not integrate advertising networks, analytics platforms, social SDKs, or data brokers.
Data Storage
All application data, including your music library index, equalizer settings, and playback preferences, is stored locally on your device. Nothing is transmitted to external servers.
Children's Privacy
Quartz Music Player does not collect data from any user, including children.
